Pyrotape PGT.3/ROS

PGT.3/ROS is a high-performance Red Oxide Silicone Coated Glass Fibre Tape engineered for demanding thermal protection applications.

Manufactured from premium “E” glass fibre yarns knitted to form a flexible tape, and coated on one side with a high-grade silicone elastomer rubber, this construction delivers excellent heat resistance, durability and mechanical strength.

PGT.3/ROS Pyrotapes are very flexible, specifically designed to protect wires, cables, and hoses from high ambient temperatures. Pyrotapes offer continuous protection at an operating temperature of 250ºC and can withstand a molten metal splash at 1200ºC. Pyrotapes are resistant to most oils, hydraulic fluids, most fuels, acids and alkalis.
