Pyrosleeve PGHB.4

PGHB.4 High Temperature Basalt Sleeving is manufactured from premium basalt fibre yarn, knitted to form a thick-walled, high-performance thermal protection sleeve.

Designed to provide exceptional insulation and protection in extreme environments, PGHB.4 is particularly suited for vehicle exhaust systems, helping maintain high exhaust gas temperatures as they flow toward catalytic converters. This improved heat retention enhances burn efficiency and contributes to the reduction of harmful emissions, including CO₂.

Typical applications include heavy goods vehicles (HGVs), buses, power generation units, and high-temperature industrial environments protecting pipework, hoses and cables.

  • • Highly conformable / expandable - allowing ease of assembly over awkward shapes and flexible-couplings.
  • • Thick single wall construction provides optimum coverage and will not snag on exhaust welds etc.
  • • Highly resistant to most oils, hydraulic fluids, acids, alkalis, and moisture.
  • • Excellent insulation properties providing protection personnel and/or sensitive electrical wiring and components running close to the exhaust systems.
  • • Good abrasion resistance.
